Women's All-Star team
1999/2000

Jennifer Jones-Patulli, Backdraft
Jennifer possesses one of the hardest shots in the league and has scored the majority of her team's goals. As strong up-front as she is on "D", she is unafraid to block shots and has the bruises to prove it! Frustrating to play against, she seems to excel in giving opponents a hard time, and all the while she does it with a smile. This is her second selection to the all-star team.

Joyce Turner, Backdraft
Joyce is one of the best 2-way defenseman in the league. As captain of Backdraft, she leads by example and doesn't shy away from the physical game. A veteran team player, Joyce brings a positive attitude to the game; she is feisty and always gives 100%. She is second on her team in goals and tied for first in assists.

Sheila Turner (Spare), Backdraft
Sheila, in her 2nd CASC season, is a speedy 2 way player with a knack for always being close to the action. A accomplised rugby player in her spare time, Sheila possesses the intensity, savvy, skill and goal scoring prowess requisite of an all-star.

Carine Contreras, Buddies
You could never tell that Carine Contreras has been playing ball hockey for less than 2 years. Carine has elevated her game since the start of the season and is slowly turning into an unstoppable force. Carine can stickhandle, shoot, pass and fight for the ball. She leads the league in goals with 20.

Debbie Stevenson, Buddies
Playing in her rookie season, Debbie is one of the most dangerous scoring threats in the league. She ignites the offense with superior speed, stick skills and also possesses one of the hardest shots in the league. Debbie loves to give goalies headaches by standing in front of the net. She is second on the Buddies in scoring, good for 8th in the league

Matilde Rebeiro (Spare), Buddies
The quarterback for the Buddies offense is also one of the top defensive players in the Womens' Division. Matilde has the uncanny knack of seeing the play develop and making the pass that sends her teammates in the clear. A very intelligent player who can frustrate opponents in a multitude of ways.

Christina Nakos, Black
Member of the fab five, Christina is another talented find of the Black team’s ball hockey factory. The first thing you’ll notice about her game is her speed and nifty lateral movement but Christina can also stick handle with the best of them, pass and shoot. She is second on the Black team with 7 goals and sixth in league scoring

Vangie Platon, Black
Member of the fab five. Vangie Platon is the all-time women’s division leader in goals with 61. She won last years scoring title in a landslide. An experienced ball hockey player, Vangie is always at the right place at the right time. She has one of the most accurate shots in the league.

Demitria Vlouhos, Black
Member of the fab five. Fast paced and quick thinking, she is dangerous around the net when left all alone. Demitria is the set-up man for the Greek line but also knows how to find the back of the net. Don't get in her way unless you want to know how road kill feels.

Célyne Blouin, Monkland Mavericks
One half of the "double C duo". Célyne is a natural goal scorer with an eye for the net. She has one of the best wristshots in the league. She’s tied for 3rd in the league in goals with 14. Célyne has a solid understanding of the game of hockey and is always at the right place at the right time

Cynthia Desantis, Monkland Mavericks
One half of the "double C duo". Cynthia is the best pure talent in the league. She can stick handle through an entire hockey team and undress the goalie with some scintillating moves. She’s the only player in the league with a PPG average above 3.0 and she also leads the league in assists. Her profound understanding of the game and her strong skills in very category, make her, arguably, the best player in the division.
